At Davis-Rairdan, we are involved in a joint marketing arrangement
with our clients. This means we are able to make accessible genetics
that would otherwise never be made available. Some of the most elite
donor females from North America's finest seedstock producers are
offered, many on a one-time only basis. These are highly proven
females, many mothers of breed leaders. Most donors have been used
in our client's ET programs to improve the genetics of their herd.
To these elite donors, we mate the breed's finest sires,
keeping in mind our objective of the essentials; calving ease, maternal
power, and of course performance to balance the E.P.D.'s. As we
breed the best to the best, this may be the opportunity to improve
