Tinsel 8R decends from the Tinsel cow family that has been extremely successful at Brylor.  Her dam, Tinsel 7C, was Reserve Heifer Calf Champion at Farmfair International and Heifer Calf Champion at Canadian Western Agribition. A maternal sister to Tinsel 8R have sold for $30,000 to Ireland and a brother sold for $20,000 as a herd bull. The mother, Tinsel 7C and grandmother Tinsel 14Z have been donor females.  Sequoia was Senior Champion Bull at Canadian Western Agribition.  He died at an early age so his progeny are highly sought after.
